A smaller wheel and a road tyre change a light electric bike more than most upgrades do. What changes, what the wheels alone will not fix, and when a ready-built machine is the better call.

When power goes up on a Light Bee, precision is the first thing to go. Two parts that fix it from both ends of the bike — a direct mount triple clamp and a reinforced rear suspension triangle.

The Sur-Ron Light Bee is the absolute king of lightweight electric bikes. It is agile, packs instant torque, and is perfect for learning wheelies. However, its low weight means that maintaining balance requires perfect body control. If your foot slips off the peg during a wheelie, you lose control. The solution to this problem is a professional foot lock – the 96 Power Parts ShiftLock.

This is a machine that directly challenges the reigning king of the middleweight class – the Surron Ultra Bee.
