Sur-Ron Light Bee: the wear parts that go first (and when to replace them)
Your Sur-Ron Light Bee starts fine, accelerates like always and looks great. Yet something feels "off": the brakes bite weaker, the drive starts skipping, you feel play in corners. It's not a fault — it's wear, and on a light off-road electric it happens faster than you think.

1. Brake pads — they wear out FASTEST
The undisputed number one. In hard off-road riding pads last just a few hours. Signs: you squeeze the lever harder, metallic squeal, lining under ~1.5 mm. Riding "on metal" destroys the disc. Ceramic pads hold a constant braking force and last longer.

2. Brake disc — why it pays to "go bigger"
The stock 203 mm is too small and warps. Signs: pulsating lever, deep grooves, "soft" brakes. Upgrade to 220 mm (~15% more braking); you need a caliper adapter.

3. Drive: belt or chain
The stock belt skips or snaps; a cheap chain stretches fast. A reinforced belt runs quiet and maintenance-free; a non-o-ring chain gives less drag and more dynamics.

4. Tires and tubes

5. Bearings — the silent precision killer
Steering-head and hub bearings wear first: play in the bars, resistance when spinning the wheel, a "bouncy" front end. The stock star nut in the steerer slips; the fix is StemLock.

6. Brake fluid and the small stuff
