An extended swingarm is one of those mods you feel on the first ride. Here is what a longer wheelbase actually does on a Sur-Ron Light Bee, why a bolted arm beats a welded one for service, and what you need to fit it without surprises.
What +45 mm does
The 96 swingarm is 45 mm longer than stock (525 mm). The longer wheelbase calms the bike at speed and on jumps.
Bolted, not welded
The arm is CNC-machined from a 6061-T6 aluminium billet and bolted together instead of welded. If you run a belt, you fit it without cutting the arm: unbolt, fit the belt, bolt it back up.

Weight: 3.7 kg (1.5 kg more than stock).
What else to order
- 110-link chain. The stock chain has 106 links and is too short for the longer arm. Use a new chain of the right length, e.g. D.I.D 420NZ3G-B 110 links.
- Chain adjusters — not included with the swingarm. The 96 CNC adjuster blocks for Light Bee fit.
Fitment
Sur-Ron Light Bee X, S and L1e (same swingarm mount) and Segway X260. Does not fit 79Bike Falcon.
