The TORP TC1000 2.X replaces the stock Talaria controller with a full FOC unit rated at 700 A battery / 1000 A phase, pre-calibrated for the MX3, MX4 and Sting R. On the stock battery it takes the bike to 8 kW (MX3) and 11.5 kW (MX4 / Sting R); with an aftermarket 72–80 V pack, up to 20 kW. Everything for the install is in the box and the bike keeps its stock functions — the one exception is the start button, which the kit replaces.

The map is loaded for the MX3 / MX4 / Sting R. Fit it, pair the app, ride. Fine-tuning is optional.

Up to 20 kW on a Talaria

8 kW on an MX3 and 11.5 kW on an MX4 / Sting R with the stock battery. Move to an aftermarket 72–80 V pack and the same controller gives up to 20 kW.

Tuned from your phone

Bluetooth app for iOS and Android: power maps, throttle response, regen braking, ride modes — changed trailside in seconds.

Keeps the stock display

Works with the factory Talaria display and leaves the bike’s stock functions in place. The start button is the one part the kit replaces.

Wheelie-control hardware built in

The 2.X board already carries the hardware for TORP stability and wheelie control. TORP switches it on by app update; a TORP display is required.

Manufacturer figures. The controller hardware is rated at 50 kW, but on a Talaria what reaches the ground is set by your battery and motor — we would rather tell you that before you order than after. One more thing worth knowing: TORP states the controller cannot communicate with the stock Talaria battery made by SCUD. All other functions stay intact.

Riding something else? TC1000 2.X for Talaria MX5 — the MX5 uses a different wiring harness, so it is a separate kit and this version will not fit it. For Sur-Ron: TC1000 2.X for Light Bee, TC1000 2.X for Ultra Bee, TC500 2.X for Light Bee.

Questions riders actually ask

How much power will I actually get?

With the stock battery: 8 kW on an MX3, 11.5 kW on an MX4 or Sting R. With an aftermarket 72–80 V pack: up to 20 kW. The 50 kW on the spec sheet is what the controller hardware can pass, not what a stock Talaria will make.

Will my stock battery work?

TORP states the controller cannot communicate with the stock Talaria battery made by SCUD — all other functions stay intact. For the full 20 kW you need an aftermarket 72–80 V pack.

Does anything on the bike stop working?

No. All stock Talaria functions stay in place; the only part the kit replaces is the start button.

I ride an MX5 — can I use this kit?

No. The MX5 has a different wiring harness, so it needs its own kit. Ordering this version for an MX5 will not fit.

Do I have to program or calibrate anything?

No. The unit ships pre-calibrated for the MX3 / MX4 / Sting R. Fit it, pair the app, ride.
