A battery cover with a carbon-look finish for the Talaria. It is a purely cosmetic part: it swaps a matt factory black surface for a carbon weave that catches the light. It mounts on the factory points — no drilling, no trimming, nothing modified.
The point of this part only shows when it is not on its own. A standard Sur-Ron or Talaria is a large expanse of flat black; one carbon piece looks like an accident. Three or four pieces in the same weave look like a decision. That is why the rest of the range is linked below — they work together, not separately.

We say it plainly because half the shops do not: this is not real carbon. It is plastic with a finish imitating a carbon weave. You are not buying strength or weight saving — you are buying the look at a fraction of the price of real composite. The part is exactly as strong as the factory one, no more and no less. If you want structural parts that will actually take a hit, look at our CNC and polymer guards, not at this range. The manufacturer does not state the weight or the type of plastic.

Three things from experience
- Clean the surface underneath before fitting. Grit trapped between the part and the frame scratches the paint with every vibration.
- Do not overtighten. Plastic moves with temperature; a bolt pulled up hard tears its boss out at the first frost.
- Wash with water and a soft sponge. A brush and strong cleaners dull the finish and the whole effect disappears.

Is this real carbon?
No. It is an imitation — a carbon pattern on plastic. We say so plainly, because the price difference between imitation and real composite is several times over and you have a right to know what you are buying.
Will it be lighter than the factory part?
The manufacturer does not state a weight and we are not going to guess. Assume the mass is close to standard — this is not a weight-saving modification.
Will the pattern fade in the sun?
The finish is in the part, not stuck on, so it will not lift at the edges the way vinyl does. Like any plastic it loses gloss over time — washing with a soft sponge rather than a brush delays that noticeably.
