Worth knowing
The plate's cutouts are not styling
The triangular cutouts remove mass where the plate does no work anyway. You protect the battery without adding needless grams up front.
The pouch has a cable grommet
Two zipped pockets and a rubber grommet — charge your phone from the USB port or run a headphone cable without opening the bag.
Pins are a wear item
They wear out and that is normal. Replacing pins costs a fraction of a new cover that you lose on the trail.

None of the three requires drilling or frame modification.
Before you buy — two things stated plainly
Check your model. Plate #250 covers a wider list (Light Bee, LB X, Segway X160 and X260), but the pouch and the pins are specified for Light Bee / X260 only. If you run an Ultra Bee or a Talaria, these are not for you — message us and we will say what fits. Second: the plate protects the front of the battery, not the underside. The underside is the job of the motor guard and the bash plate; those are separate parts. The manufacturer states neither material nor plate weight, nor pouch capacity in litres, nor the number of pins in the set — we publish purpose and fitment, without invented numbers.

Three things from experience
- Replace pins as a set, not one at a time. One new pin next to three worn ones carries the whole load and wears out even faster.
- Take the pouch off before pressure washing. Waterproof is not the same as jet-proof.
- After fitting the plate, check nothing rubs at full steering lock and with the front suspension compressed.

Does the plate protect the battery underneath?
No. It protects the front. The underside is covered by the motor guard and the bash plate — different parts.
How many pins are in the set?
The manufacturer does not state a number and we are not going to invent one. If you need a hard figure before buying, message us and we will count a set from stock.
Is the pouch watertight or just water-resistant?
The manufacturer claims water resistance, not a seal. Rain and splashes yes; submersion and a pressure washer, no.
