The S18 Pro is a sensible first wheel for someone who does not want to start on a rigid frame. Suspension makes a difference at a city kerb, not just in the woods — and it is the thing people most often regret saving money on. 906 Wh covers city distances and 2200 W handles climbs up to 35 degrees.
An electric unicycle is not a scooter with one wheel. It is a machine you have to learn — the first hours are balance practice along a wall or with someone holding you, and nobody skips that part. Let us be straight: this is the entry model and that is how we describe it. 2200 W is the least of our three, and on a unicycle power means safety margin, not just acceleration. For the city it is plenty. If you already know you will ride fast and on hard terrain, do not save here — step up to the S22 Pro.

Check before you buy
- Whether you can ride one. If this is your first wheel, expect several hours of learning. That is normal and applies to everyone — it is not a fault of the machine.
- Whether it is enough. For the city and light trails, yes. If you are heavier, ride fast or tackle steep climbs, the S22 Pro headroom stops being a luxury.
- Power headroom is safety. A unicycle keeps you upright using motor power. Overload it and it can give up and go down with you. A stronger model is therefore a bigger margin, not a toy.
- Where you will charge. Packs this size take hours to fill. Plan the space and the socket before the wheel arrives.

How long does it take to learn?
Usually somewhere between a few and a dozen hours, spread over several days. The first hour is holding a wall or another person. Then comes the moment where you simply ride — and from there the learning ends and the riding starts. This applies to everyone, whatever their fitness.
Is the quoted range realistic?
Only for economical riding. Manufacturers measure range at low speed with a light rider. Ride fast, uphill or in the cold and the real distance can be half of it. We say so plainly, because it is the most common disappointment in this category.
Can I ride it on public roads?
That depends on the country — the legal status of electric unicycles is not uniform across the EU and it does change. Check the rules where you live. We do not advise riding against local regulations.
What happens if the motor is overloaded?
The wheel can lose the ability to hold you upright and go down with you. Power reserve is therefore not a luxury here but a safety margin — which is why the stronger model is safer, not merely faster.
