The S22 Pro is for someone who knows what power headroom is for. 4000 W continuous and 8500 W peak at 160 N·m is not about top speed — it is the margin that keeps you upright when a weaker wheel starts to give up. The high-voltage 126 V pack holds power flat through most of the discharge instead of fading at the end.
An electric unicycle is not a scooter with one wheel. It is a machine you have to learn — the first hours are balance practice along a wall or with someone holding you, and nobody skips that part. Anyone telling you that you just get on and ride is selling you a return. But once that barrier breaks, you get a way of moving that nothing else replaces — no handlebar, no pedals, nothing between you and the road.

Straight talk about range: the manufacturer quotes up to 200 km but gives no measurement conditions — and at 2220 Wh that is only reachable at very slow, economical speeds. Ridden quickly the real distance will be markedly lower. We quote the number and tell you how to read it.

Check before you buy
- Whether you can ride one. If this is your first wheel, expect several hours of learning. That is normal and applies to everyone — it is not a fault of the machine.
- S22 Pro or S18 Pro. The S22 Pro has almost twice the power, two and a half times the battery and longer travel. The S18 Pro is three thousand cheaper and enough for the city.
- Power headroom is safety. A unicycle keeps you upright using motor power. Overload it and it can give up and go down with you. A stronger model is therefore a bigger margin, not a toy.
- Where you will charge. Packs this size take hours to fill. Plan the space and the socket before the wheel arrives.
Frequently asked
How long does it take to learn?
Usually somewhere between a few and a dozen hours, spread over several days. The first hour is holding a wall or another person. Then comes the moment where you simply ride — and from there the learning ends and the riding starts. This applies to everyone, whatever their fitness.
Is the quoted range realistic?
Only for economical riding. Manufacturers measure range at low speed with a light rider. Ride fast, uphill or in the cold and the real distance can be half of it. We say so plainly, because it is the most common disappointment in this category.
Can I ride it on public roads?
That depends on the country — the legal status of electric unicycles is not uniform across the EU and it does change. Check the rules where you live. We do not advise riding against local regulations.
What happens if the motor is overloaded?
The wheel can lose the ability to hold you upright and go down with you. Power reserve is therefore not a luxury here but a safety margin — which is why the stronger model is safer, not merely faster.
