Front disc guard — CNC 6061-T6

Protects the disc from rocks, roots and branches. Sur-Ron Ultra Bee.

The brake disc on a Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is exposed to everything the wheel throws up. A rock, a root or a branch hits it without warning — and a bent disc is not just the cost of a disc: it starts rubbing the pads, cooks the caliper and ruins your braking exactly when you need it.

This guard is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and bolts on permanently. It is one of the cheapest parts in the shop protecting one of the more expensive ones — and the first thing people fit before an off-road season.

Frequently asked questions

Why a guard if the disc is steel?

Steel bends. A rock hitting the edge of the disc deforms it enough to start rubbing the pads and cooking the caliper. The guard takes that hit instead of the disc.

Does a guard reduce disc cooling?

The guard covers the edge, not the friction surface. Off-road, the risk of bending a disc is far more real than the risk of overheating from a partial shield.

Does it fit another model?

No. Guards are profiled to a specific swingarm or fork mount. We stock separate items for the other machines.

Is a disc included?

No. This is the guard only. We sell discs separately, including versions 25% thicker than stock.

Is there a cheaper version?

Yes, the family includes a v1 version — simpler and cheaper, with the same fitment. Linked in the tiles.
