The Ultra Bee carries its motor low and exposed. One rock, one log, one bad landing — and you are looking at a cracked case, not a scratched cover. This bashplate is 5 mm aluminium, powder coated black, and it takes that hit instead.
What it is not: a cosmetic panel. It is a structural plate with extra ventilation holes, so it protects without turning the motor bay into an oven.

The honest note: a bashplate protects the motor case, not the whole underside. It will not save a bent frame or a damaged swingarm from a serious impact — it stops the failure that actually happens most often, which is a rock into the motor housing.

Before you order
- This is the Ultra Bee plate. The Light Bee uses different mounting — ask us before ordering.
- Check your existing plate mounts if the bike has been down hard; a bent mount will not sit flat.
- Riding rocky terrain regularly? Fit it before the first ride, not after the first strike.
- Doing a power upgrade? Fit the plate at the same time — more power means more speed into the same rocks.
FAQ
Will it make the motor run hotter?No. The plate has extra ventilation holes specifically so airflow around the motor is not blocked.
Does it fit a Light Bee?No. This one is shaped for the Ultra Bee.
Is 5 mm overkill?On a bike this heavy and this fast off-road, no. Thinner plates deform on a hard strike and then sit against the case.
Will it rust?It is aluminium, so no. The powder coat handles stone chips better than paint.
