A complete front brake system for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee in OEM class. This is not a box of parts to assemble — you get a finished unit: components are joined, filled with brake fluid and professionally bled. Take it out, bolt it on, check lever travel and ride.
The front is what actually stops you — under braking it carries most of the load. That is why the same assembly is a common upgrade for the Sur-Ron Light Bee: the stock front brake fades on long descents and after a controller upgrade. For a Light Bee you need two items though — this one and the front conversion kit. The table below says exactly what to order.
What to order for your machine
| Your machine | What you order | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sur-Ron Ultra Bee | This assembly alone | The caliper adapter for the Ultra Bee fork leg is included. Bolt-on, no modification. |
| Sur-Ron Light Bee X / L1e | This assembly + front conversion kit | The conversion adds a CNC 7075 adapter and a 240 mm (3.3 mm) disc matched to Light Bee geometry. |
| 79BIKE Falcon Pro | This assembly + front conversion kit | The conversion kit manufacturer lists the Falcon Pro as compatible. |
| You only need a disc or pads | Separate items in the shop | This assembly is the hydraulics: master cylinder, caliper, line, adapter. No disc inside. |
The most common ordering mistake: a Light Bee owner buys this assembly on its own and then finds there is no way to mount the disc. A Light Bee X / L1e build needs two items — this one and the conversion kit (linked below).
What is in the box
Master cylinder
With an ergonomic handlebar lever, right-hand side. Ready to fit.
Caliper with pads
Pads are already installed — nothing extra to buy to get rolling.
Brake line
Correct length, increased pressure resistance.
Caliper adapter
Dedicated to the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee fork leg.
What is not included
Brake disc and disc guard. On an Ultra Bee you keep the factory ones. For a Light Bee conversion the 240 mm disc comes with the conversion kit — linked in the section below.

Before you order
- On an Ultra Bee this is a direct fit — you need nothing else.
- For a Light Bee X / L1e add the front conversion kit, otherwise the disc cannot be mounted.
- The brake disc is not part of this set.
- Doing both axles? The rear assembly is a separate item — linked below.
Frequently asked questions
Does it fit the Sur-Ron Light Bee?
Not directly. The adapter here is cut for the Ultra Bee fork leg. For a Light Bee X / L1e you add the front conversion kit — CNC 7075 adapter and a 240 mm disc, 3.3 mm thick. Only together do they make a working system.
Do I have to bleed it after fitting?
Normally no. The system arrives filled and bled. After bolting it on you check fluid level and lever travel.
Is the disc included?
No. On an Ultra Bee the factory disc stays. For a Light Bee conversion the 240 mm disc comes with the conversion kit.
Front or rear first?
Front. Under braking the front wheel carries most of the load, so you feel the gain immediately. Add the rear as step two — it is the same type of assembly.
Can I get fitment confirmed before buying?
Yes. Send us your model and year and we will tell you exactly what to order.
