This is a front fork, not a rear shock — an upside-down design with 200 mm of travel and 37 mm stanchions, the thickest of any USD fork for the Sur-Ron. Inside it runs an open bath damper and a multi-shim valve stack: motorcycle solutions, not bicycle ones. Compression and rebound adjusters sit on the outside and the fender mounting points are built in.

The fork fits the stock Sur-Ron and Talaria headset. This version carries the 50 lbs spring; the stiffer 60 lbs spring is version #87.

We say this plainly, because we would rather lose 749 PLN than your trust: the manufacturer fits fairly weak seals in this fork and after a few hundred kilometres they can start to weep. Changing the seals and the oil before the first ride removes the problem completely. We do it in-house for 749 PLN — tell us when you order if you want the fork prepared.

Before you order — two things straight

Seals. They are the weakest part of this fork. Either you take our pre-delivery service, or you plan to change the seals and oil yourself — the third option is risking a leak after a few hundred kilometres.

Weight. This fork weighs 5.35 kg (11.8 lb) — roughly 1.1 kg more than a DNM or KKE and about 2.3 kg more than a Fox 40. You pay in mass for the thicker stanchions and the motorcycle damper.

Is this a fork or a rear shock?

It is a front fork in an upside-down layout. The rear shock is a separate part with its own listing.

Do the seals really leak?

The manufacturer fits fairly weak seals in this version and after a few hundred kilometres they can start to weep. That is why we offer a pre-delivery service with new seals and fresh oil for 749 PLN — after that the problem is gone.

Does it fit without modification?

Yes, to the stock Sur-Ron and Talaria headset. The fender mounting points are built into the fork.

50 or 60 lbs?

The 50 lbs spring is softer, the 60 lbs stiffer. The manufacturer publishes no weight ranges, so send us your weight and riding style and we will advise based on what similar customers choose.
