The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee runs a 520 chain — the same size as a 250 motocrosser. Stock is a 46T rear sprocket and a 96-link chain. An electric motor delivers full torque from zero, so the chain takes a hit every time you twist the throttle, and on 18–21″ wheels and jumps the suspension adds impacts on top.
D.I.D 520ERT3 is the racing chain factory motocross teams run. No O-rings means less drag than a sealed chain — and on an electric bike every watt at the wheel is range. D.I.D rates it for bikes up to 450 cc, so the Ultra Bee is well within its limits. This listing is the 96-link version, matched to a 46T rear sprocket.

Does it fit the Light Bee?
No. The Light Bee uses a 420 chain. This 520 chain is for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee.
How many links does the stock Ultra Bee chain have?
96 links with the stock 46T rear sprocket.
Can I shorten the chain?
Yes, the chain is open. Shorten it with a chain breaker and join it with the included clip link. Easier still: order the right length from the chart.
Why non-O-ring?
A non-O-ring chain has less drag. Off-road it needs regular cleaning and lubing — in return it puts more power to the wheel.
