The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee runs a 520 chain — the same size as a 250 motocrosser. Stock is a 46T rear sprocket and a 96-link chain. Can I shorten the chain?
Yes, the chain is open. Shorten it with a chain breaker and join it with the included clip link. Easier still: order the right length from the chart.
Why non-O-ring?
A non-O-ring chain has less drag. Off-road it needs regular cleaning and lubing — in return it puts more power to the wheel.
