The stock lever sits at one fixed distance from the grip. With a smaller or larger hand you either reach too far or squeeze with the edge of your finger. On a longer ride you feel it in your forearm. Here you set the reach with the adjuster wheel: the lever sits exactly where your fingers land.
On top of that, reach adjustment. The stock setting is a compromise for an average hand — here you put the lever exactly where your fingers reach. Aviation-grade aluminium, anodised, left and right in one set.
Standard or one-finger
| Version | How you use it | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Standard lever | You brake with two fingers, full-width lever | Familiar feel, more leverage if the brakes are soft |
| One-finger lever | Shorter — you brake with the index finger, the other three stay on the grip | Technical riding and stunt, where you do not want to let go of the bar |
| Both versions | Reach adjustment between lever and grip | Anyone the stock lever does not fit |
A one-finger lever only makes sense with brakes that work. One finger on a shorter lever means less force — if your brakes need a hard squeeze, sort out the pads and fluid first and shorten the lever afterwards.
What you get
Shorter lever
You brake with your index finger — the other three stay on the grip. A firmer hold over rough ground.
Reach adjustment
You set the lever to your hand, not to an averaged user.
Aviation aluminium, anodised
Machined and anodised. It does not corrode or fade after a season.
Set of two
Left and right in one kit. You do not buy two separate items.
Before you buy
You get two levers — left and right. Master cylinders, lines and pads are separate items.
Fits the Talaria MX5. Check your model before ordering — other Talaria versions use a different lever mount.
Levers do not change braking force. They improve ergonomics and control — if your brakes are weak, the cause is the pads, the fluid or the disc.

Ergonomics is not a gadget — it is the difference between "I brake confidently with one finger" and "I hunt for the lever mid-corner".

Check before you buy
- Model. This version fits the Talaria MX5.
- Standard or one-finger. One-finger gives better control in technical terrain but needs brakes that work.
- Brake condition. A lever does not add braking power. If the brakes are weak, start with pads and fluid.
- You are buying a pair. Both sides are included.
Frequently asked
How many pieces are in the set?
Two — left and right. One bike's worth.
Do the levers fold in a crash?
No. These are fixed levers — their advantage is ergonomics: reach adjustment and a shorter blade. In a hard crash they can be damaged, like any lever.
Is the one-finger lever better?
Not better, different. The shorter lever lets you brake with your index finger while three fingers stay on the grip — an advantage in technical terrain. It does need brakes in good order, because one finger applies less force.
Will they improve braking power?
No. A lever transmits force, it does not add it. Braking power comes from the pads, the fluid and the disc.
Do they fit other Talaria models?
This version is for the MX5. Other models may use a different lever mount — message us and we will confirm the fit.
Does the adjustment need tools?
You set the reach with the adjuster dial, without removing the lever.
