96 Power Parts rear sprocket 44T, 7075-T651 aluminium, Talaria Sting MX5 Pro
TALARIA STING MX5 PRO · 44T

96 rear sprocket — 44T, CNC 7075-T651

Stock on the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro is 46T. This one is 44T — 2 teeth fewer.

The rear sprocket is the cheapest way to change the character of the drivetrain. You are not adding power — you are changing how that power reaches the wheel. CNC-machined from 7075-T651: harder and stronger than the common 6061, so the teeth hold their geometry under chain load while staying light.

Stock on the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro is 46 teeth. This one has 44 — a longer final drive: higher top speed and calmer running on straights. There is one cost and we say it plainly: weaker off the bottom and harder climbs.

This item is 44T. Against the stock 46T that is a longer final drive — faster flat out, softer off the bottom. Other sizes from the same family are in the tiles below.

Frequently asked questions

How many teeth does the stock sprocket have?
On the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro the stock sprocket is 46T. This item is 44T, which means a longer final drive — higher top speed, weaker off the bottom.
Does a bigger sprocket increase range?
There is no simple answer and we are not going to promise one. A shorter final drive reduces motor load on climbs, but at the same road speed the motor spins higher. In technical terrain it usually helps; on tarmac it usually does not.
Do I have to change the chain?
Not always, but you do have to check. Changing tooth count changes the tensioner range. A big jump upwards usually means extra links.
Why 7075-T651 and not 6061?
7075-T651 is harder and stronger. Under chain load the teeth round off more slowly and the sprocket keeps its geometry longer.
Does it fit a model other than the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro?
No. This version is for the Talaria Sting MX5 Pro. We stock separate items for the other models — message us and we will pick one.
