Most front-end upgrades are cosmetic. A drop crown is not. The crown sits lower on the fork stanchions — the chassis rises 25 mm and the gap between tyre and crown opens up by exactly the amount a 21" front wheel is missing.
Designed and machined by 96PowerParts.com from solid 7075 aluminium. The same series used for load-bearing parts in aerospace and motorsport — because the drop crown carries every landing from the fork into the frame.

A front end 25 mm higher also turns in slightly lazier. That is a deliberate trade: you buy stability and clearance, you pay a little agility on tight singletrack.

The crown sits lower on the stanchions. The front of the bike rises a full inch — no spring changes, no new fork.
Integrated stem lock
Threaded steerer tube and bearing preload lock in one part. You do not need to buy a separate Stem Lock.
7075 aluminium
CNC-machined from billet. Not cast — full fatigue strength where landings transfer into the frame.
Room for a 21"
Exactly the clearance an off-road front wheel needs. Recommended tyre 70/100-21 — Dunlop MX33 or K990.
What is not in the box
The box contains the drop crown with its threaded steerer tube and integrated stem lock. No fork, no wheel, no tyre, no handlebar. It fits FastAce ALX13RC 1.0 and 2.0, AXH 12RV and Talaria Factory Forks v1 and v2 only. It does not fit KKE, DNM, EXT, Fox or Manitou forks — different stanchion diameter and spacing.

The tyre recommendation is not a detail. At full FastAce fork compression, profiles wider than 70/100-21 can still touch the crown even with the drop crown fitted.

Check before you buy
- Which fork you have. FastAce stanchions are marked ALX13RC or AXH 12RV. Talaria Factory Forks v1 and v2 both fit.
- Which tyre you plan to run. For a 21" wheel aim at 70/100-21. Wider profiles can rub at full compression.
- Brake line length. The front rises 25 mm — check the slack on the brake hose and light wiring at full steering lock.
- Headset bearings. They stay stock. If they already have play, replace them while you are in there — the stem lock holds preload but will not fix worn bearings.

Can I fit a 21" wheel without a drop crown?
On a FastAce fork the tyre hits the crown at full compression. The drop crown gives 25 mm of clearance — that is the main reason people buy it.
Does it fit KKE, DNM, Fox or Manitou forks?
No. FastAce ALX13RC 1.0/2.0, AXH 12RV and Talaria Factory Forks v1/v2 only. Other brands use different mounting geometry.
Do I need to buy a Stem Lock as well?
No. The stem lock is integrated into the drop crown, together with the threaded steerer tube.
How does the handling change?
The head angle slackens. You gain stability on straights, under braking and on landings. You lose a little agility in tight corners.
Do I need new headset bearings?
No, the stock ones stay. The drop crown uses the standard bearing seat.
Does it fit the stock Sur-Ron fork?
No. The stock Light Bee fork uses a different crown design. This drop crown was built for FastAce and Talaria Factory forks.
