This is the intermediate shaft that sits between the belt and the chain on a Light Bee. It arrives complete: shaft, 14T chain sprocket and belt pulley, ready to drop in. You are not pressing parts off a worn shaft and hoping the splines are still good.
What it is not: a gearing change. 14T is the stock Light Bee sprocket size, so the bike keeps the gearing it left the factory with.
Why buy it complete
Shaft, sprocket and pulley togetherOne part number instead of three, and nothing left to press off
14T — stock gearingSame ratio as factory, no speedometer or range surprises

NOT included — and one honest warningBelt, chain and bearings from the bike side are not in the box. And the honest warning: if the old shaft failed because a belt let go or the chain was over-tensioned, fitting a new shaft alone will get you the same failure again. Find out what killed the first one before you fit the second.

When this part needs replacing
The countershaft rarely fails quietly. These are the symptoms worth acting on.
| Rattle or knock from the drive area under load | Inspect now — usually play in the shaft |
| Chain jumping on the sprocket | Sprocket teeth are worn — replace |
| Belt shredded or jumped | Inspect the pulley before fitting a new belt |
| Play you can feel by hand at the sprocket | Replace — it will only get worse under power |
| Just fitted a big power upgrade | Inspect it as part of the job, not afterwards |

Before you order
- This is the Light Bee part. Ultra Bee uses a different drivetrain — ask us first.
- Work out why the old one failed. A shredded belt or a badly tensioned chain will take the new shaft too.
- Inspect the belt and chain while everything is apart — replacing all three at once is cheaper than doing the job twice.
- Running an upgraded controller or motor? Treat this as a wear item, not a lifetime part.
FAQ
Will this change my gearing? No. 14T is the stock Light Bee sprocket, so the ratio stays as it left the factory.
Does it fit an Ultra Bee?No. The Ultra Bee has a different drivetrain layout.
Do I get the belt and chain with it?No. This is the shaft assembly — sprocket and pulley included, belt and chain separate.
What does v2 mean?It is the current revision of this assembly, and the one we stock and fit ourselves.
Do the job once
