The Fatbar is what the top of the MX field runs, and that is not about the sticker. Renthal makes it from its own 7010-T6 alloy and profiles the wall thickness along the whole length — so the tube is not a dead piece of aluminium but a bar with a designed flex character. On a hard landing that flex takes part of the hit instead of your wrists.
The bar is unbraced. Beyond the look that has a practical meaning: in a crash there is no crossbar for your chest to find. The grip area is the standard 22.2 mm, so your grips, levers and switchgear all stay.

A Fatbar is a 28.6 mm tube and it will not sit in the narrow stock clamp of a Light Bee. That is not a fault of the bar, it is the MX standard — which is exactly why we build the 96 Direct Mount stem that takes 28.6 mm. On the Ultra Bee you buy nothing extra, because Sur-Ron fitted a fatbar clamp from the factory.

Check before you buy
- Your bike. The Ultra Bee is 28.6 mm from the factory. Light Bee, Segway X260, Talaria and E-Ride need the 96 Direct Mount stem.
- 802 mm width. That is full MX width. If you ride tight woods, compare it with your current bar before ordering.
- 84 mm rise changes your position. Check the slack on the brake hose and cabling at full steering lock.
- Your grips and controls stay. The grip area is the standard 22.2 mm.

Does it fit the Sur-Ron Light Bee?
Yes, but not on the stock clamp — that is narrower than 28.6 mm. You need the 96 Direct Mount stem, which takes a 28.6 mm tube. The same applies to the Segway X260, Talaria Sting and E-Ride Pro.
And on the Ultra Bee?
It bolts straight on. The Ultra Bee stock clamp is 28.6 mm, the MX fatbar standard — nothing else to buy.
Will my grips and controls fit?
Yes. The grip area is the standard 22.2 mm. Only the centre clamping section is oversized.
Why is there no crossbar?
Renthal profiles the wall thickness along the whole bar, so the stiffness comes from the tube itself. A crossbar is not needed, and leaving it out removes one more thing to hit your chest on.
How is it different from the Accel bar at 274 zł?
The Accel is 7075-T6 with a constant wall, 790 × 101 mm. The Renthal is a proprietary 7010-T6 alloy with a profiled wall, a designed flex character and every bar individually tested. For casual riding the Accel does the job; for hard riding the extra cost is justified.
Can I cut the bar down?
802 mm is full motocross width. Cutting is common, but do it evenly from both ends and measure your current bar first.
Does the same model come in other colours?
Yes — black, gold, titanium, red and blue. Same RC High geometry, only the colour differs.
