The E-Ride Pro SS 2.5 L1e is a full-size electric dirt bike on 19/18 wheels that you register as a moped. L1e homologation limits top speed from the factory to 45 km/h and lets you ride legally on public roads — for commuting, in the city and on gravel.

It weighs 69 kg, less than the SS 3.0, and the 72 V 40 Ah battery is removable and charges from 20 to 90% in about 2.8 hours. Adjustable suspension, regenerative braking, mirrors and lights come as standard.

Manufacturer data. Range depends on pace, terrain and rider weight — in real riding it will be shorter, which is why we don't quote a figure of our own.

Before you buy
- 45 km/h is the factory limit that comes with L1e homologation. Removing the limiter ends the homologation and the insurance cover.
- The bike needs registration and insurance as a moped. We prepare it for registration; the paperwork is on your side.
- Compare it with the SS 3.0 L1e: a bigger 50 Ah battery and more peak power for a small extra cost. If range matters, that's the better choice.
FAQ
SS 2.5 or SS 3.0 L1e?
The SS 2.5 is lighter (69 kg) and charges faster. The SS 3.0 has a bigger 50 Ah battery, longer range and more peak power. If you ride longer distances — SS 3.0. If low weight matters — SS 2.5.
Which licence do I need?
L1e homologation is the moped category. In most EU countries an AM or B licence is enough — check the rules in your country.
How far will I really get on a charge?
The manufacturer quotes up to 72 km at 40 km/h and up to 124 km at 26 km/h. In the city and off-road it will be less. We don't quote our own figure because we haven't measured it.
Can the 45 km/h limit be removed?
We don't recommend it and we don't do it on the bikes we sell. Without the limiter the bike loses its homologation, and with it the right to ride on the road and the insurance cover.
