What the BMS bypass actually does

The stock Sur-Ron BMS limits how much current the battery will release. That limit is exactly what you run into when you fit a stronger controller and the bike still feels capped: the controller asks for more, the BMS refuses. This kit routes the discharge path around that limit, so the pack can deliver what it is physically capable of.

Who it is for

• Riders on an upgraded controller (TC500, TC1000 or similar) who are not getting the power they paid for.
• Bikes that cut power under hard acceleration or on long climbs.
• Builds where the battery is the last remaining bottleneck.

Still on the stock controller? Then this is not your first upgrade. Sort the controller out first and come back to the battery afterwards.

Read this before you buy

• It removes a protection, not just a ceiling. The BMS current cut-off is there to protect the cells. Bypassing it means the pack can be pulled harder than the factory ever intended.
• Heat is the price. More current means more heat in the cells. Ride at full power constantly and the pack will age faster.
• Fit it properly, or have it fitted. This is a high-current connection. A loose or badly made joint is a fire risk, not an inconvenience.
• Check your warranty. Modifying the battery circuit normally ends the battery manufacturer's warranty.
