A bearing rarely kills a bike. The fitting does. A drift and a hammer send the blow straight into the housing — one crooked hit and you have hammered-out aluminium that no new bearing will ever sit squarely in again. This tool turns that blow into slow, axial screw pressure.
The result is simple: the old bearing comes out in line and the new one goes in in line, pushed on its outer race. You do it yourself, on the bench, without a workshop visit and without a hydraulic press.

What you get
Forked body
Machined, marked 96 Power Parts. It grips the part on the housing side and carries the load into the casing, not the bearing.
Threaded spindle
A long Allen-head bolt — you drive the pressure with a wrench, slowly and under control.
Stepped drift
It bears on the bearing race, not the cage — that is the condition for the new bearing surviving installation.
Thrust collar and receiver sleeve
The bearing exits into the sleeve instead of dropping out and hitting the bench.
What is not included
No bearings, no seals and no assembly grease. No Allen keys either — you drive the spindle with your own.

- This is a tool, not a part — nothing gets permanently fitted to the bike.
- Drive the pressure slowly and squarely. A cocked spindle ruins a housing faster than a hammer does.
- Always bear the drift on the bearing race, never on the cage — otherwise you destroy the new bearing during fitting itself.

Frequently asked questions
Does this replace a workshop press?
For bearings on bikes of this class, yes — you get controlled axial pressure, which is exactly what a press does. For heavy industrial fits it is not the tool.
Why is it better than a hammer and drift?
A hammer sends the impact into the housing and into the cage of the new bearing. The screw pushes slowly and evenly, so the housing stays round and the bearing takes no shock before its first turn.
Will the kit cover my bearing?
Send us the bearing designation, or the bike model and the location — swingarm, steering head, wheel. We will check and reply before you order rather than guess.
Does it work for seals and bushings too?
Yes. Same principle: controlled pressure instead of driving them in.
Do I need anything else?
A set of Allen keys and assembly grease. The rest is in the kit.
