The linkage and the rear suspension triangle carry the whole landing load from the wheel into the frame. It is one of the most heavily loaded joints on the bike — so we machine ours from a material with a margin of strength.
Ours is CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium, the same series used for load-bearing aerospace parts. Bearings are included, so you do not have to source them separately. Lighter and stronger than stock, a 1:1 fit on the factory mounting points.

This part works as a pair: the linkage and the rocker form the same assembly. If you strengthen one and add a stiffer spring, the other becomes the next weakest link.

How is it different from the stock part?

Yes. You replace the whole joint rather than moving old bearings into a new housing.
Do I need the rocker as well?
You don't have to. The linkage and the triangle are one assembly, so the triangle is the natural next step if you want to reinforce the whole thing.
Does it fit a model other than the one listed?
No. Mounting points differ between the Light Bee, Ultra Bee and Talaria. Sur-Ron Ultra Bee — those only.
