The Talaria MX5 runs a 428 chain — heavier-duty than the 420 on the Sur-Ron Light Bee or the Talaria MX3/MX4. Stock gearing is a 13T front sprocket, 48T rear and a 108-link chain. An electric motor delivers full torque from zero, so the chain takes a hit every time you twist the throttle. This is not the place for a random chain.
D.I.D 428NZ is the Super Non-O-Ring series: SDH-hardened pins, quad-staked, solid bushings. No O-rings means less drag than a sealed chain — and on an electric bike every watt at the wheel is range. This listing is the 108-link version, matched to a 48T rear sprocket.
