The ST-16 and the ST-16 EXTREME are not one bike at two prices. The base runs 18 V and 150 W, the EXTREME 36 V and 350 W, with an aluminium frame and hydraulic brakes. The second gap is charging: 5–6 h on the base, 60–90 min on the EXTREME — if your child rides all weekend, that difference bites more often than the speed does.

Spend the first hours on flat, firm ground — sand and grass make balance harder.
Charge after riding rather than just before; a battery warm from a ride charges worse than a cooled one.
