An inner tube is the cheapest part that can end your ride. This one is size 3.00/3.25-16 · 90/100-16, with a metal TR6 valve and 1,2–1,4 mm rubber.
The tube is made for 16″ wheels and tyres within the 3.00/3.25-16 · 90/100-16 range. Your tyre size is moulded into its sidewall — if it falls outside that range, this is not the right tube.
Which tube do you need
| Tube | Wheel | Rubber | Our wheels in this size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.50/2.75-19 | 19″ | 1.2–1.4 mm | stock 19″ wheels |
| 3.00/3.25-16 · 90/100-16 | 16″ | 1.2–1.4 mm | #86 and #83 — 16″ rear wheel |
| 3.00/3.25-18 | 18″ | 1.2–1.4 mm | tyres up to about 90 mm wide |
| 3.50/4.10-18 | 18″ | 1.2–1.4 mm | #167 — 100/100-18 rear |
| 80/90-21 · 3.00/3.25-21 | 21″ | 1.9–2.0 mm | #167, #89, #216 — 80/100-21 front |
For the 21″ front wheel take the thicker 1.9–2.0 mm tube. That wheel hits rocks and kerbs first, and a tube pinched between the rim and a rock edge is the most common failure there. For 16″, 18″ and 19″ the standard 1.2–1.4 mm is enough.
Exactly what you are buying
One tube
You are buying a single tube, not a pair. A full wheel set needs two.
TR6 valve
Metal centre valve — the standard on spoked wheels used off road.
1,2–1,4 mm rubber
Thickness from our catalogue. Mitas does not publish a technical data sheet for its tubes, so we do not add numbers we do not have.
Mitas brand
A motorcycle tyre and tube manufacturer, not an unbranded tube from a marketplace.
Before you buy
This tube fits 16″ wheels. Stock sizes differ between models and model years, so check the size moulded into your tyre sidewall rather than a table from the bike manufacturer.
You get the tube only. No tyre, no rim lock, no patches.
A tube will not fix a cut tyre or a bent rim. If you lose air after every ride, the cause is usually somewhere else — inspect the rim and the inside of the tyre before buying another tube.

Fitting in short
- Inflate the tube slightly before sliding it in — it will not twist inside the tyre.
- Do not lever near the valve; that is where the rubber gets pinched most easily.
- Tighten the valve nut only after inflating, once the tube has settled inside the tyre.
- Check the pressure after the first ride — a freshly fitted tube always gives a little.
Frequently asked questions
Does this tube fit the stock wheel on my bike?
It fits 16″ wheels. Stock sizes differ between models and model years, so instead of guessing, check the size moulded into your tyre sidewall — if it falls within 3.00/3.25-16 · 90/100-16, this is the right tube.
Will a thicker tube help when I run low pressure?
Thicker rubber resists pinching between the rim and a rock better, but at genuinely low pressure the tyre starts to rotate on the rim, and then you need a rim lock rather than a thicker tube.
Can I fit an 18″ tube in a 19″ wheel?
No. A tube of the wrong diameter sits unevenly inside the tyre, chafes and splits — usually at the worst possible moment. The diameter has to match the wheel.
Do I get an invoice and a warranty?
Yes. We ship with an invoice, the manufacturer warranty and the two-year EU statutory warranty, exactly as with every other part in our shop.
