How do I bed in new pads?

Make 8–10 progressive stops from moderate speed before riding hard — this lays an even friction layer and unlocks full bite.

Do they work with upgraded discs?

Yes — ceramic pads are the ideal partner for a thicker 200 mm or a bigger 220 mm rotor: more thermal headroom, zero fade.

Can I run a 250 mm front disc?

Only with upgraded forks (Fastace / Rfloxa) — stock forks don’t have the clearance and mount for a 250 mm disc.

Are retaining pins included?

No — the set contains the pads only; you re-use the pins from your caliper. Check wear roughly every 500 km of hard use.
