On the Sur-Ron Light Bee X the lights are on whenever the bike is on. In daylight, in the woods, on a closed track — you are lighting up and paying for it in range. This switch gives you control: kill the headlight with one move and take back the power that was going into thin air.
It plugs into the existing connector — no cutting and no soldering of the factory loom. The housing is waterproof, so rain and washing the bike are not an issue. A five-minute fit that pays for itself on the first longer ride.

⚠ Before you buy — the versions are NOT interchangeable
This is the one thing to check before ordering: the Light Bee X and the Light Bee L1E use different plugs. The LBX switch will not go into an L1E and the other way round. Ordering the wrong version means a return and a week of waiting. If you are not sure which you have, message us with the VIN or a photo of the connector at the headlight and we will check before shipping. Second point: the manufacturer states neither the current rating nor an IP class — it claims waterproofing, but not as a standard. We are not adding numbers that do not exist.

Three things when fitting
- Photograph the connector before you unplug it. Going back to stock, you will not have to work out what went where.
- Route the switch within thumb reach but out of the path of your knee when you stand up.
- Cable-tie the slack to the frame. A loose loop near the fork is a question of when, not if, it catches on something.

Will the LBX version work on an L1E?
No. The plugs are different and that is the entire difference between these two products. Order the version for your model.
Do I have to cut the factory loom?
No. You plug into the existing connector and can return to stock at any time without a trace.
How much range will I actually gain?
We are not going to give you a number, because it depends on the headlight draw on your bike and how long you ride. The gain is real, but this is not a modification that doubles range — it recovers current that does nothing in daylight anyway.
