The 18/21" kit is perfect for those looking to increase the size and height of their SUR-RON. Better in terms of stability at high speeds, the only downside is the rotational weight.
The key advantage of this kit is the wide selection of typical MX tires, which translates into traction that are missing from the stock 19/19 wheel set. In the case of 18/21" wheels, it is worth increasing the power to get the best riding experience.
• 96 POWER PARTS rims (18"x1.85" / 21"x1.6"), anodized or powder coated in the selected color.
• 96 POWER PARTS hubs, stronger and lighter than OEM hubs, made in CNC technology from 7075 series aluminum, adapted to 10g spokes (also compatible with 12g).
• Top quality 10g stainless steel spokes and brass nipples. This combination provides a much stronger wheel with a similar weight to the cheap and weak OEM 12g spokes.
• To regain lost power with the 18/21 configuration, it is recommended to replace the sprocket with a 60T or larger.
• You need to check if your fork is compatible with the 21" front tire. The forks we know are compatible are: OEM inverted fork DNM Volcano or KKE, DVO Onyx, DVO Emerald, Manitou Dorado, Fox 40, Ohlins DH38, Marzocchi Bomber 58 and others in 27.5 and 29". MOST 26" forks (except Marzocchi 888) are NOT compatible with 21" wheels.
