D.I.D builds chains for motocross world champions, and that is not marketing copy — the Super Non-O-Ring NZ series uses SDH-treated pins that take impacts without cracking while keeping their damping. The pins are quad-riveted and the bushings are solid. This is the drivetrain part you do not save money on, because a snapped chain can take the guard and the swingarm with it.
This is the 114 link version for the Sur-Ron Light Bee. The chain arrives open, with a clip master link — you shorten it to your setup and close it without a riveting tool.
420 or 520?
| 420NZ3G-B (this one) | 520ERT3G-G | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 420 — the stock Sur-Ron drivetrain | 520 — wider, motocross standard |
| Sprockets | needs 420 sprockets | needs 520 sprockets |
| Construction | SDH pins, quad-riveted | ERT3: +25% impact resistance, +3% tensile strength over the previous version |
| Who it is for | stock and mildly tuned Sur-Ron | heavily tuned machines, competitive riding |
| Price | 192–203 PLN | 345–355 PLN |
Do not fit a 520 chain to a stock 420 drivetrain — it will not work. Moving to 520 means replacing both sprockets, front and rear. If your Sur-Ron runs the stock drivetrain, this is the chain you want.

Before you order — count the links
Chain length depends on the rear sprocket, the front sprocket and the swingarm length. This listing is the 114 link version; we also stock 106 and 114. The simplest method: count the links on the chain you are removing, or tell us which sprocket and swingarm you run and we will pick the length.

Before you order
- Count the links on your current chain — that is the most reliable method.
- Fitting a bigger sprocket or a longer swingarm? You will need a longer chain.
- Available lengths: 106, 110 and 114 links — each has its own listing.
- A 520 chain is a different standard and needs different sprockets.
Frequently asked questions
How many links do I need?
It depends on your sprockets and swingarm. The simplest way is to count the links on the chain you are removing. We stock 106, 110 and 114 — tell us your setup and we will advise.
Do I need a riveting tool?
No. The chain comes open and a clip master link is included.
Can I fit a 520 chain instead?
Not without changing the sprockets. A 520 is wider and needs sprockets in the same standard, front and rear.
Why without O-rings?
O-rings reduce wear but add drag. On light electric machines with a short chain, the non-O-ring version is the more common choice.
